Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I read that Diet Coke can cause breathing problems...any truth to that? I drink approximately six cans a day and do have shortness of breath...I have had every lung, heart, asthma, ect test done that you can think of with nothing coming back abnormal.
Hi Welcome to HCM I don't know who suggested you for 6 ( six ) cane a day? The properties of Normal Coke has 140 calories and 39 grams of sugar. But in Diet Coke has no calorie and added Phosphate and caffeine properties for energy. There are some research was made by American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that Diet Coke is not a good way to quench your thirst. It is empty of nutritional value and its caffeine content may contribute to dehydration. Caffeine is a diuretic, meaning it makes you urinate. The more Diet Coke you drink, the more you will urinate. You need calcium for growth and maintenance of strong bones and teeth, and Diet Coke may interfere with your calcium levels because it is high in phosphate. So avoid Diet Coke . What is your CECT Chest study and Pulmonary Funtion Test study shows . and Need Absolute Esinophil count . For furthe Management . Take CAP Acebrophylline 100 mg twice a day Thanks
