Could Dizzy Spells Be Due To Head Injury?

hi i was wondering if due to a old head injury if I could be getting dizzy spells now later in life. I got hit pretty hard with a baseball bat at the side/front of my head, left side of forehead. I am also having the change of life and was wondering if that too could be my problem. I have had this dzzy/vertigo feeling for 5 days now and went to my doctor today he did notice a lot of wax to my left ear and washed it out and i did get a vertigo RX but it doesn't seem to help me at all. If it does not go away next week I will go back to the doctors. this dizzy feeling has taken over my life and I can't seem to get anything done that I need to. any information you can give would help. but my bigges concern is if this could be from that old head injury when I was a small child? thank you Maria
