Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

Rabies is 100% fatal but it is 100% preventable by proper and adequate treatment.

As you were bit by a stray dog for which you have taken a dose of antirabies vaccine. As i have mentioned earlier proper and adequate treatment is must in the management of dog bite. It is very difficult to make out whether the dog is having rabies or not by external appearance.

So for your case I would suggest you to follow the measures which will give 100% protection.
1.Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water.
2.Active immunization with anti rabies vaccine on days 0,3,7,14 and 28.
3.Passive immunization with anti rabies serum should be taken around the wound.
4.Inj TT, 0.5 ml, IM.
Thank you.
