Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband had a stroke on Dec. 30, 2014. He has been in a nursing home for 4 month and has regained about 60 percent use of his left leg and 35 percent of his left arm and hand. He will be headed home in 3 weeks. He has battled thyroid cancer for 10 years. Currently he has a 6 cm tumor on his right kidney, 3 cm tumor on his left kidney which are thyroid cancer. Recently he has developed a spot on his pelvic bone. He has had numerous surgeries on his neck to remove thyroid cancer tumors. He is 63 and 2 night ago he started to see double vision. We are waiting for the ctscan results. He had a few nodes on his brain when they took the scan on Dec. 30. Could this double vision be from a tumor or medication is my questions. He take oxy, pain patches and conzipan. I m just interested in your thought,
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, with the multiple disease benzodiazepine need to be given with extra care and if it is possible avoid this drug because it may mask the clinical symptoms as long as the motor nervous system is concern, hope this information helps, take care.
