Could Dryness In Face And Mouth And Swollen Nodes Be The Symptoms Of HIV?
Dear Doctor, I was unprotected during having sex last month. the symptoms were. 2nd week, I have warm body with dry face and mouth. 3rd week, I had two swollen nodes on my right groin with warm body 4th week ( now ), My body was weak, a bit join paint, and I had a warm body with low night sweat last nigh I have had no fever at all, please explain if this may be caused from HIV injection? Thank you

generally symptoms of HIV do not appear that much early.
but to rule out the infection You can go for RT-PCR( reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction ) which detects HIV at a very early stage.
regarding your health problems you can consult a physician who will examine you and prescribe some antibiotics for you which you should be using right now.
Symptoms of HIV are Repeated episodes of fever, weight loss, respiratory infections, diarrhoea etc…
so please take the above mentioned test

The acute HIV syndrome follows after by 3- 6 weeks . These symptoms are :
Fever , pharyngitis , lymphadenopathy , headache/ retroorbital pain, arthralgia/myalgia,lethragy/malaise, anorexia/weight loss, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea.
Mucocutaneous ulceration ( buccal mucosa and on tongue).
Since few of these symptoms , you are also having .
Now almost 4 weeks passed after your unprotected sex . Get in rapid NUCLEIC ACID AMPLIFICATION TEST ( NAT ) as detectable antibodies appears after 3 weeks and not more than 3 months .
Unprotected sex is the main source of HIV infection if any one partner is infected with HIV.
