Could Eating Chocolate Be Harmful For 5 Month Old Child?

Hi, I was eating a bar of chocolate earlier and I had my 5month old daughter on my lap. A few crumbs fell on to her babygro and I am not sure if any crumbs went into her mouth. I am wondering if they did is this dangerous for her? Do I need to go to a doctor? Thank you

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Nothing will happen. No need to worry, and no need to see doctor, provided she had not aspirated (sudden onset coughing / chocking).

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
