Could Exercising Cause Sharp, Pulling Like Pain Near Belly Button During Periods?

Hi, Im finishing up my period. Im on the dark brown stage. I have noticed that i have some mild pain around my belly button. This morning when i first woke up it was a very sharp pain that felt like something was pulling. I have also started exercising, working mostly my abs. Im not sure if this has anything to do with the pain I'm feeling. If not, what is it?

Hi,

Let us know if you have had this pain for the first time or you get every month. Further , exercise may cause such spasmodic pain.

You may consult a docotor who will prescribe you antispasmodic medicines for pain.

Take the medicine for 2 to 3 days and see if you get complete cure. If the pain persists , you may need investigations. Drink plenty of water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Fatima Clinic
