Could Extreme Pain And Numbness In Fingers Be An Indication Of Pinched Nerve?

I have what I think is a pinched nerve at C7. Had pain and numbness of right index and middle fingers. Pain is gone now, after about 2 weeks. Little bit of numbness still exists at fingertips. But have noticed that my right triceps is extremely weak. Is this normal for a pinched nerve ?
