General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You might have referred pain in genital as swelling is very near to your genitals. However, to be surer your pelvic examination is needed.

The painful bump could be hair follicle bacterial infection. The pus should be drained and topical antibiotic cream can be applied.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
