Large And Small Hard Painful Lump Below Belly Button. What Is It?

I have a large hard painful lump in the fatty tissue just below and to the right of my belly button, I am quite overweight and the lump in is the belly fat, I also have a small but hard bean sized lump just above my belly button, I can feel it when I slide my thumb inside my belly button and pinch my skin together

Thank you for your query. The condition you described may be a lipoma, which is a lump caused due to collection of fat cells. It is pretty common in people who are overweight and usually doesn't warrant any treatment. Sometimes these lipomas may get infected and could be cause of pain and tenderness, for which a 5 day course of cefadroxil and topical mupirocin antibiotic cream will be sufficient. Apart from this, you would want to consider diet modification and regular exercise in your routine to keep your BMI under control and thus prevent adversities pertaining to it.
