Could Frequent Urination With Burning And Itching Indicate UTI?
I have been feeling the following symptoms for almost 3-4 days now: full bladder yet little urination even after voiding, slight burning and itching, urgent urination. I also find what seems to be a tissue like substance in my urine with blood in it. I have had a UTI before and am thinking this is what I have. I ve been taking AZO maximum strength (2 pills 3x a day) to help relieve the symptoms..its working some but not like I feel I need it to. I ve only taken one set of pills thus far.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. The symptoms of frequent urination and burning sensation does indicate that you could be having urinary tract infection. What antibiotic you are taking is not that effective to treat urinary tract infection as it is primarily used to treat respiratory tract infection. Kindly stop using it if you are taking it to get treated for urinary tract infection. You need to get your urine culture and sensitivity done and get treated with the course of antibiotics which the organisms are sensitive to. In the meantime, drink good quantity of fluids and citrus fruit juices. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
