About 18 weeks afterdays ago I had unprotected sex with a woman. I was inside her for about 8 second and she then gave me oral sex for about 1 minutes. headache and try mouth sore throat pain Can someone PLEASE tell me what is the chance i have HIV with these symptoms? Unprotected vaginal sex for 10 seconds ( very less chance of HIV infection because duration of contract was minimum), but risk was there.
Dry mouth and headache are most early symptoms of ACUTE syndrome of HIV but is occurs only in 50-70 % cases . But these symptoms may be due to sore throat , so may be the flu one such reason.
Oral sex is safe way and HIV can't transmit with this way because saliva ( even of infected individual ) contains endogenous antiviral factors .
You and your partner got HIV confirmatory test and all tests are normal so in my opinion this is not a cause of concern.
No more test require for HIV infection.
ELISA test is most specific and sensitive and accurate (99.5 %).
