Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Could Heartburn, Gas, Diarrhea, Bloating With On And Off Cramping Suggest Gastrointestinal Issues?
At what point should I worry about gastrointestinal issues? For the past several weeks I've had heartburn, gas, diarrhea, bloating and cramping off and on. I never really had these issues before and I'm just wondering at what point I should get it checked out.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the chances of infection is very likely and some time it could be mix type of infection like protozoa and bacteria so looking to this possibility I would suggest to try the following medicines Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for five days and Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 20 mg once in day for three weeks, try to avoid heavy meal coffee, smoking alcohol prior to bed hope this information helps.
