Could Heavy Bleeding After Spotting And Milky White Discharge Form Vagina Indicate Miscarriage / Hormonal Imbalance?
Hello... I got married 4 months back.. I have 40 days menstrual cycle and i am not taking any contraceptive pills or precautions.. my last periods ended on 2nd december 2013. Later I had brown pinkish light spotting for 4-5 days (15th dec- 20th december 2013). After that i experienced milky white discharge from vagina and it was odorless without itching. I did a home pregnancy test on 6th january (just 3 days before my periods due date) and it was negative. My periods started on exact due date i.e 9th January 2014 but i am experiencing heavy periods this time with cramps in lower abdomen for the last 3 days. I have taken anti inflammatory once to reduce the pain and stop the heavy blood loss. I am worried either this heavy bleeding is a sign of Miscarriage or caused due to hormonal imbalance and other factors. Kindly guide me in this regard.
Hello, Welcome to HCM, Heavy menses may be due to any reason. If it happens once then it is not significant. It is not necessary that heavy flow is miscarriage. As you have negative pregnancy test and period appear on expected date means it is normal menses. There is no pregnancy so there is no question of miscarriage. Have a better health.
