Could Heavy Cough Have Been Caused By Sinusitis?

Hello, My 20 yr old daughter has had a heavy cough and upper respiratory infection. She was prescribed Augmentin Forte. She has been on it for 3 days, but has had quite severe headaches. Is there a possibility this is a side effect, or is it more likely to be sinusitis causing it? It seems to affect the whole head.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear..first to say to treat sinusitis you must keep patience and headache is a symptom of sinusitis only. I advise you follow
1) Take tab Augmentin 625 mg once a day for 7 days
2) Tab. PCM for headache twice a day
3) Steam inhalation with solvin vasocaps twice a day
4) Hot water gargles with povidine iodine
twice a day
5) Keep yourself hydrated.
6) Tab. cetrizine if you have running nose
Thanks and regards
