Could High Fever Along With Pus Filled Lump In Throat Be Due To Strep?

I have a 7 yr old son who has had a fever for 4 days now. It stays at around 103F. I can bring it down with Tylenol, but hours later it is right back up. I noticed a hole with pus on back of throat. Is this strep? Should I take him to dr tomorrow?

Yes it is most likely that he has got strep infection....meanwhile continue him with Tylenol and cold sponging and do consult the doctor so that appropriate antibiotics can be prescribed...
