Could High Value For T Cells CD3, Low CD 57 NK Cells With Chlamydia Indicate HIV Infection?
Hello, My patient has got a high value for T cells CD3(absolute): 2071, reference range being 900-1900/uL(in a German lab). The CD57- NK cells (absolute) count is low as well:65, reference range being 100-360/uL He is over the top also for Chlamydia pneumonia and CMV. Could those above-mentioned values point to HIV-infection?
You should test cd4 count.. This is more specific of hiv infection. the above mentioned values are nonspecific . Finally end with 'Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help". For Follow up questions, end with "If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health".
