Could Hip And Groin Pain Be Caused From A Rupture Or Colon Problem?
Iif ve had four back surgeries on my lower back so I ve been ignoring the hip & groin pain on my left side. I m wondering iif the pain is from a rupture or maybe a colon problem. the pain is a constant stabbing in my left hip going around into the groin area
* The issue does not sound in relation with rupture of colon or else, but mostly neuritic pain via nerve compression and the posterior hip joint or lower sacral region with referred pain involving the adjacent dermatome of the supply.
* An approach with neurologist and consultant surgeon will together diagnose the issue at its best.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
