Could Hot Flashes And Palpitations Be Due To Fundal Myoma?

I had a pelvic ultra sound for a routine check up. I saw a mass like structure on the monitor which I saw the tech label fundal myoma. I am a CT tech and can recognize some abnormalities on an ultrasound. I didn t say anything to the tech and waited to speak to the doctor. He told me it was normal? Some gynecologists cannot read ultrasounds like radiologist would so I am concerned. I know it is benign, but I am now getting what feels like menstral cramps and extreme hot flashes (sweating) w palpitations. I am 52 and thought I was near the end of menopause as I never had flashes like this. Should I follow up with a radiologist / surgeon.
