Could I Be Pregnant After Having Sex 5 Days After A Miscarriage?
I had a miscarraige on June 7th,2013, I was 5 weeks and 5 days and waited a week after that and i started having unprotected sex again, i have not seen my period since. I took a pregnancy test today and it says im not pregnant. Is it too soon to find out?
After a delivery or a miscarriage, it takes some time for the ovaries to start ovulating again. Usually this time runs in a few weeks but may be more in some people. So it is unlikely that having sex within a week of a miscarriage will result in pregnancy. But it has now been more than eight months since your miscarriage and you mention that your pregnancy tests are negative. Since it is unusual for ovulation to be delayed for so long, in my opinion, you should consult your doctor. If there are any hormonal abnormalities, these should be diagnosed and treated so that you can conceive again and carry the baby till term.
Best wishes.
