Could I Be Pregnant If I Have Missed A Pill?

I am currently taking oral contraceptives, and I am on my fourth week where usually your period starts. I have yet to start my period. I had unprotected sex about two weeks ago but I haven't missed a pill except for one the Saturday right before I was supposed to start my period. Is it likely that I could be pregnant or am I just late or something else...

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As you didn't miss the pill around the period of intercourse, the possibility of pregnancy is less.
Usually pills to be taken in last week will be inactive or non hormonal pills.
So, missing these pills may not have impact on protection rate.

Even if you are using a pack with all active pills like progesterone only pills, as you didn't have intercourse around the period of missed pill, the possibility of pregnancy is less.
You may get withdrawal bleeding soon.
Take care.
