Could I Be Pregnant With Headaches And Mood Swings?
Hi I have a feeling I may be pregnant I had a period in late January and had very light bleeding 23 February. I have been suffering headaches and extremely tired the last few weeks with mood swings. I did a test ten days ago and it was negetive. Should I test again?
Hi, Thanks for the query. If you had unprotected intercourse around the period of ovulation, there is possibility of pregnancy. Just by symptoms we cannot come to one conclusion regarding pregnancy. And urine pregnancy test kit sometimes may not detect early pregnancy. Scanty flow during periods is called hypomenorrhea. It can occur due to many causes. For more details: http://srsree.blogspot.com/2013/11/hypomenorrhea-part-1.html Anemia, stress and strain etc can influence the patern of menstrual flow. So, you better go for investigations like hemoglobin level, blood test for pregnancy, ultrasound etc. With this workup the possibility of pregnancy can be ruled out and also the cause for hypomenorrhea can be identified and treated. Take care.
