Could Infected Tooth And Swollen Lymph Nodes Be The Cause For Pain In Spleen?

Hello, I have had an infected tooth for about two weeks. I have noticed that the left side (where the tooth is) my lymph node has swollen and is painful to touch. The other side is fine. I have also noticed pain in my spleen (just below my ribs on the left side) it gets worse when I lay down and it often feels like a light jabbing pain/pulling the pain hasn t been severe however concerning. Could the tooth, and the fact that the lymph node Is swollen be what is affecting my spleen to cause me pain? Thank you!

Can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you have a severe infection in tooth and it is leading to swelling and inflammation of the lymph nodes and is leading to tenderness and pain on touching..
It can be due to abscess formation due to accumulation of pus below the root tips of infected tooth..
As far as pain in area below the ribs is concerned you need to take care of it and get it investigated by a Gastroenterologist as it does not seems to be caused due to tooth infection..
As far as tooth infection is concerned you need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical examination and also advise you an x ray of tooth..
Root canal treatment or extraction of the tooth can be advised followed by antibiotics and painkillers depending upon the condition of the tooth..
