General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Itching and skin rashes can occur as a side effect to Duphaston. These symptoms can be reduced with anti-histamines. In case of persisting itching, you may have to stop using the drug and switch to other hormonal pills containing progesterone. Mild steroid creams like hydrocortisone can be used to reduce itching that does not subside with anti-histamines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
