Could Intake Of Viibryd And Vyvanse Cause Red Spots On Face, Weightgain And Hairloss?

I m currently taking Viibryd and also Vyvance. I do feel somewhat less depressed but Iam breaking out in little red spots on my face. I have gained 6 pounds in about 1 month. My hair is coming out also and the diahrea has not let up, I sometimes lose by bowels. Perhaps this is not a good combination for me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Vilazodone (Viibryd) may increase the effects of lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) and side effects associated with it like jitteriness, nervousness, anxiety and restlessness. Combining these medications can also increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called 'serotonin syndrome', which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, tremor, in-coordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Hence, it is better to avoid this combination and consult your doctor for alteration in medication.
