Could Intake Of A Pill Post Unprotected Sex Prevent Pregnancy?
I had sex for the first time on the 7/10 and it was unprotected it only last for a few minutes my partner did not ejaculate but maybe Previn but I took next choice an hour after this happened so I just wanted to make sure if everything is okay and does it effect the fact that I had sex two days before ovulation I m just very worried I m just waiting patiently to get my period which should be coming In two weeks according to what my calendar says. Please help me I m very worried.
Hi, Thanks for posting your problem in HCM. Having sex penetrative or non-penetrative OR ejaculation inside/outside or no ejaculation always carries a risk of getting pregnant. Even pre-cum (pre-ejaculate fluid) might contain active sperms which are capable of fertilisation. Even though you suggest that it was two days before ovulation, it carries a risk as you cannot predict ovulation and also sperms inside vagina remain viable for 72 hours. If you have taken emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours, it will prevent pregnancy. So don't worry. Only thing is you need to wait till your periods happen.
