Could Intake Of Antibiotics For Bladder Infection Cause Blood In Stools?

I have blood in my stool. I'm on an antibiotic Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride 500mg (as of Wednesday) taking 2 a day as I have a blander infection. I was put on Rivaroxaban a week ago and was also taking Metoprolol but was taken off this drug after 10 pills (5 days) I have never had so much pain since I started these meds could this also be the cause of Blood in my stool?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

It is unlikely that taking antibiotics is causing blood in stools for you. However it is suggested that you take adequate amounts of water and fluids for your bladder infection.
