Could Intake Of Rosuvastatin Along With Aspirin And Ramipril Cause Tremors In Hands And Knees?
Hi I have Knee pain and tremors in hands and knees and my medication is 100mg asprin,10mg ramipril and 10mg rosuvastatin I think its the rosuvastatin that is causing this ...I have had the problem for 3years and it is getting worse...Benigh essential tremors have been ruled out by DRS......
I am so sorry to hear about these tremors and knee pain. It would be unlikely that these symptoms are caused by any of these medications. Rosuvastatin is ell known for muscle pains and not tremors. I will suggest that medications be put aside and other causes of tremors like Parkinson's disease, coffee intake, etc as they are typical of any of the above mentioned drugs. Also, you doctor may want to pause rosuvastatin for a while and see whether it makes any difference s this could be an atypical side effect that has not been well documented and reported to clinicians.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
