Could Issues In L4 And L5 Cause Stiffness In Joints Of Body?
I am beginning to experience stiffness in most my joints. I know I have issues with my L4 and L5 and my dr has recommended an I believe he called it and x-lift. Wondering is this issue with the back could be the source of the stiffness and should I be working with my dr looking for other potential causes
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The L4-L5 motion segment may cause referred pain from the joints and/or muscles or radicular symptoms that travel through nerves. Depending on the type and severity of the underlying cause, the L4-L5 motion segment may cause lumbar radicular pain also called sciatica. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain . I also suggest gentle stretching exercises and physical therapy.
Hope my answer was helpful.

Kind regards!
