Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am finding some blood in my urine. One time it was pinkish and this last time it was dark. My urine looked like ice tea. I started jogging recently. I jog easy and only for 15 minutes at a time every other day. Could this be the cause? My kidneys and bladder have been checked in the last couple of years and they were healthy. I have no other symtoms. No pain, no fever, no urgency to go. I feel fine. I am 61 yr old female in good health. Should I just stop jogging and wait and see if this is the cause? does it sound like something that needs checking right away?
pinkish or dark coloured might be due to blood in urine or a highly concentrated urine as in severe dehydration Painless blood in urine could be due to kidney or bladder cancer you should be worried but no too much in my opinion you should visit to a urologist immediately for clinical examination and IVU related investigation to rule out/confirm the diagnosis
have plenty of fluids and fresh fruit juices you should go for jogging but only after being in good hydration state
I hope you will find my response informative and helpful please feel free to ask for further assistance I will be happy to help you Wishing you good health
