Could Knee Pain Caused By An Injury Be A Sprain?

I was playing basketball and went to dunk and landed sideways and my left knee rolled in towards my right knee.....I can walk but it hurts to bring my foot to my butt on the backside of my knee cap. Do you think I just sprained it or something a lot worse?

From history it is presumed to be sprain or torn ligament. Use aknee cap or crape bandase over knee. Take rest and tablet combiflam two times after food. Inthe mean time you can have xray AP and lateral vew of knee joint. Consult orthopaedic surgeon for further management.
