Could Large Mucosal Node, Polyp Taken Out During Partial Colonoscopy Indicate Cancer?

my daughter is 30 and has hx of childhood polyps she had a partial colonoscopy done yesterday which showed a large mucousal node which they took and a polyp they also took. She thought she may have an anal fissure, but they did not say anything about that. Could this be cancer.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The most important thing to evaluate any case in concern with polyp is the symptom which is not mentioned here.

At present, I suggest you to wait until biopsy report turn out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
