Could Low Grade Dysplasia During Pregnancy With Being HPV Positive Be Due To Sexual Partner Having Multiple Partners?
hi I have low grade dysplasia, I am 4 month pregnant my doctor said the Colposcopy will be done after I deliver.
I never had multiple partners, but my husband has been with different women before me and cheating after being marry is this one of the causes why I am HPV positive?
HPV is primarily a sexually transmitted disease and it is difficult to say from where it came. It is transmitted by other routes like hands and sharing objects. It may have been there before you met your husband or may have come later. So please stop thinking about it now.
You have dysplasia which is low grade. This may come from HPV or even from pregnancy as pregnancy itself causes cervical changes due to hormones.
So just wait until the delivery. Get re evaluated after that. Do not stress as stress is not good for the baby.
Please discuss this with your husband and also the implications of HPV and multiple sexual partners and have him tested if possible for his own benefit.
Hope this was helpful. Feel free to ask any further queries and I will be happy to help. Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
