Could Lump In The Breast Of A Child Be Due To Calcium Deposition?
My eight year old daughter identified to me tonight that her left breast hurt and when I checked it , it was slightly raised with a lump underneath . I wouldn t think it was a sign of puberty as she is only 8 , I will be taking her to the pediatrician asap but was curious if it could be a calcium deposit at her age ?

Could Lump In The Breast Of A Child Be Due To Calcium Deposition?
Hi, I have gone through the problems of your daughter and understood your concerns. Physical examination is needed to determine whether the lump on her breast might be due to calcium deposition or not. Breast ultrasound is also suggested to rule out lipoma or other types of mass. Get it further checked by pediatrician as soon as possible. Dr.Albana
