Could Lump On Side Of Neck On Tendon After Moving Heavy Object Be A Strained Muscle?
Hi
I have a lump on the side of my neck on the tendon that goes from your neck to your shoulder possibly from a strained muscle. I moved a heavy object and the next day I found a 1 inch lump on the side of my neck
So I think it's a strained muscle but I am not shure
I have read your question carefully and it says that you developed a lump over the tendon in neck after you moved a heavy object a day before.
from my clinical experince I can say that such lumps are formed from the injury it any muscle/tendon. There are other symptoms also present with lump-- pain, may be only when the lump is touched or difficulty in moving the neck to a certain position, or redness/purplish hue...
It is not mentioned in your question if you have any of these symptoms or not. So, even though it looks like that it can be related to pulling of weight but one can be sure if other signs are also present.
Hope the reply is useful Feel free to ask more question Dr. Manisha Gopal
