Could Medications For Liver Failure Cause Elevated Heart Rate And Blood Sugar?
My husband is in the hospital for liver failure his normal resting heart rate is around 78. In the past couple of days it has increased to 108 at times! I notified hid doctors. They don t seemed concerned. He has recently had a spike in blood sugar 491 to be exact they say due to meds is this related??

I really appreciate your concern, such fluctuation in heat rate does not matter at all because it could be non significant unless have some positive finding in EKG for the high level of blood sugar it need to be managed on tight rule basis and he would be taken care for sure for that too, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
