Hello,

Taking a third-generation HIV test at days 30, 45, and 60 is quite thorough. Third-generation tests, which detect HIV antibodies, are generally accurate after 60 days, detecting about 99% of infections. However, since you have some active infection and throat pain, etc., you are advised to take fourth-generation test to stay on the safer side as this test detects both HIV antibodies and antigens, and they can identify 99% of infections as early as 45 days after exposure.

Do not neglect, take the test so that you can be treated at the earliest if required. In the meantime, to help heal ulcers in mouth take a course of doxycycline (100mg). Twice daily for 5 days. Take acetaminophen, twice daily for 5 days. Take a multivitamin tab / cap, once daily for 5 days. Take all medicines after taking food. You will get relieved as the report is also negative for HIV.

Take liquid or semisolid food so that you don't hurt your mouth or throat. Maintain your oral hygiene. Gargling thrice daily with Listerine water will be helpful. Stay at rest, avoid any strenuous work till you feel better.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
