Could Nasal Steroid Spray Cause White Chunks In Throat Without A Sinus Infection?

I am using a nasal steroid spray and a decongestant both prescribed. Occasionally I get a cottage cheese consistency that I feel in the back of my throat and spit out. It s white chunks. I don t have a sinus infection or anything like that. Could it be the steroid spray causing a buildup in my sinuses?
