Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection

I have sinus problems due to spring qnd nu,ber of hayfever allergies. I have yellow, sometimes green nasal discharge. My nasal irrigation twice a day and steroid spay (usage is increased fro, once a day to twice) seems to clear it a bit. But recently I had vaginal discharge - a lot and yellowish... not smelly, but with my poor nose I might miss something. Is there infection that it ,ight clear itself or I need antibiotics?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are probably related to a yeast infection. I suggest to do a vaginal swab test for further evaluation. If the diagnosis is confirmed, you should take anti-fungal cream for local application such as Clotrimazole cream. I also suggest to maintain a good hygiene.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
