General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
Thank you for contacting HCM.

I have gone through your question and i understand your concern.
Pregnancy is not possible in the way you have described your sexual contact.
Emergency contraceptive pills such as i-pill have a side effect of altering the menstrual cycle causing early or delayed periods. At this point there is no need to worry.
If your partner does not have her periods for another week I would recommend she consults her local gynecologist for clinical evaluation and further management accordingly as there may be several reasons for delayed periods.

I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns.
Wishing you good health.
