Could Non Penetrative Sex Cause Recurring Itchy And Dry Pimples On Shaft Of Penis?
I started out with what looked like a pimple on the shaft of my penis then the next morning or after i showered it had busted and then was itchy and dry, couple days later i noticed a smaller spot below the first one but is scabed over and is almost gone, but the original one is still there. I had sombody give me oral sex they had a cold sore on their lips, could this be the result of that?
Hello and welcome to HCM, An itchy lesion on shaft of penis after oral sex could be due to herpes simplex infection. Herpes simplex infection is characterized by fluid filled lesions which are itchy, they can ulcerate and be very painful also. However, in order to confirm the infection serological test needs to be performed. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment and investigations (serological test). Till the time the infection is treated, unprotected sex should be avoided since it can transmit the infection to your partner or vice cersa.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
