Could Not Get Up From Chair, Could Not Speak After Having Meal. Very High BP. What Are The Possible Explanations?

Hi, after a meal recently , I felt strange - within seconds I felt so ill I sloughed in the chair and couldn't even speak.
Many people came to my aid , I could hear but could not respond. When medics arrived I could hear them say "stroke" I could even lift my arm. Oxygen helped , but I recall vomiting , this all when on for maybe 6 hours before I felt "normal again. Although I thought this time was only 30 minutes max. MRI etc, showed nothing sinister, but my BP was crazy sounding 250/130 on admission to the hospital which was (I later discovered ) 50 mins from the where this happened and the paramedics stabilised me first. So I do don't know how high it when. Thankfully I got through this but what concerns me is that I was never told what this was or what caused it and that troubles me. Is there any explanation?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Thanks Almighty you could recover fully with a blood pressure of 250 / 130. The problem you suffered was indeed a stroke and fortunately you recovered well. In medical language this is called Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) . Start on a low salt diet, continue all the medicines your Doctor/s have asked you to take religiously. Please follow the instructions meticulously. You may have this problem again... BY the way how are you now and what are the investigations you have gone through...
