Could Over Active Pituitary Gland Be Due To Synthyroid?

I have been taking this medicine 300 mg daily for 6 weeks now. Recent blood tests show an overactive pituitary gland and I was wondering if this medicine could have anything to do with it. I take 125 mg Synthroid daily and this has been the case for 6 years with no problems until now.
