Could Pain In Neck Be Due To The Accumulation Of Deposits?

I ve been seeing a Chiropractor for pain on the right side of my neck. He can not twist it to crack it on that side. He said it needs to be stretched to break up deposits there. Does this sound right to you? Would I need an epidural shot to ease the pain?
