Could Pain In Pubic Region Radiating To Navel Be Related To Spinal Surgery?
Yes, thank you! I have a pain that begins in my pubic area, on the left side up to the top. It radiates to my belly button when I move. I had a back fusion surgery on 2 vertebrae 2 months ago & thought it was related somehow? Any advice would be great! Thank You!
Hi. Thanks for your query. Yes, the pain as you described as beginning in pubic area and being referred to may be related to the belly button can be due to spinal fusion. But you have not mentioned the details of which level was the back fusion surgery is done. Secondly such pains can occur in 2 situations. 1. Large inguinal hernia pulling on the greater omentum 2. Varicocele in the scrotum .
I would advise you the following:Get a clinical examination done by a General Surgeon to get a clinical diagnosis and confirm by some tests.
Exact diagnosis can lead to a proper treatment.
