Could Pain In Shoulder And Arm Be Due To Cipro?

On Monday I was prescribed Cipro for a sinus infection. I've felt "funny" since beginning the first dose--extremely light headed, roaring in my head, but last night was the end of my taking Cipro. My right arm became extremely cold and tingly with almost loss of feeling within 30 minutes of my taking my nightly dose. I returned to my FNP this morning and was immediately taken off the Cipro. I still have achiness in my right arm and shoulder and extreme ache in my right elbow, and some in my right foot and occasionally in my right hip and mild pain in my mid-back. I've taken Cipro before with no side-effects. I've been switched to Doxyclycline. Is it a safe drug? And will I have to live with these side-effects from the Cipro forever?
