Could Pain In Shoulders Post Heavy Weight Lift Indicate Pinched Nerve?

I have a shoulder that aches as a result of straining it lifting my father. X rays and ultra sounds were negative but now it still aches once in a while and my fingers and thumb go numb at night. Could I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder causing this

it might be neuromuscular problem. it can be diagnosed by clinical examination. consult neurologist it can be cervicalsondilytis . can be cervical rib. take MRI.
