Could Pain In Stitches Of C Section After Carrying Heavy Weight Indicate Internal Damage?
I had a c section 38 days back. So far so good but I yesterday lifted my elder kid who is a toddler weighing 14 kgs and walked almost 2 kms carrying him. I feel pain one stitches and in the back. I m scared I haven t split open my internal stitches or done some internal damage. How would I come to know about any of such damages? Thanx
It would be very rare to damage the internal organs by carrying heavy weight for about 2 km.
Yes,it is possible that your some stitches may get loosened or it may cause pain but chances of internal damage is not possible here,so no need to be worry and be rested.
You should go to your treating gynecologist who will inspect the stitch area and wash the area if there is any wound.
You will be given analgesics with antacids for symptommatic relief.
You can go for ultrasound abdomen to be in more safer side but nothing to worry here and pain will be subsided.
