On the side of my neck I have a lump and it hurts to press it or to turn my neck to the right went to the doctor and they said it was just my lump nodes that were swollen and if I drink any cold drinks it hurts bad and if I drink fuzzy drinks it burns I don t know what to do.
Yes, lump on side of neck is usually due to swollen lymph nodes and they occur due to any infection. They will go away on its own. However, if they persist beyond 2 weeks, make a consultation with your GP.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
