Could Pantoprazole Cause Bad Odor Like Chemicals In Stools?
I have been taking pantoprazole sod 40 mg since 2-6-2014 & today my bowel movements include a horrible odor ( almost smells like a chemical of some sort). Is this a side effect of the medicine? Also, it s almost an apple sauce consistency, but not diahrrea,.

You was taking pentaprzole, since 2-6-14. but now only you had change in the consistency and the smell.
Observe for any change in the diet in the previous days. It may be an infection.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin,ornidazole.
